On today, the last day of my vacation I will be reading a book and doing pricing to build a new computer as Mom's has decided to have epileptic fits every 15 minutes or so.
It's going to take me a while to get everything put together and working right. My intent is to upgrade my processor to a 3.0ghz Athlon 64x2 up from my current 2.0 ghz then use my current processor and video card in this new box. However, I'll need to buy replacements first then I very well may have to backtrack, get a new power supply, then reassemble everything. It all depends on if my current power supply doesn't snowball whenever I have everything plugged in. I may also have to get another external hard drive to back everything up first.
Mom intends on getting a macbook so she has her own personal mobile solution. This is more to get Owen to shut the fuck up about how slow the computer is and/or to give him a way to look at his fishing forum and porn.
